That's a noble vision, Buck
I look forward to the day perhaps in my lifetime when every nation on earth is a free democratic society.
I don't know if we'll live to see the day, but then, I can remember when no one expected the Berlin Wall to come down, either. Neither vision could possibly happen so long as some prefer the "stability" of tyrannical goverments rather than hope for freedom for all people. Did America's actions destabilize the Middle East? Absolutely. And while the instability may result in short term turmoil, it has the potential for huge long term benefits.
Besides, what's so good about stability if it means maintaining monoarchies and dictatorships ruling ruthlessly over several hundred million people?
