Deployments

Most of these can be applied to any Deployment. Divisions usually deploy for up to six months at a time, where the individuals live like this, its not just in Iraq. So lets just keep in mind the armed forces are doing this sort of thing for you even when its not being plastered all over the news.

The deployments I've been on have been much shorter, but a few things come sto mind:

#31: (to simulate a MI unit) have you and 30 of your friends dress up in flack vests, Load Bearing vests, kevlar helmets, NBC gear and rifles, then pile into a sterile offwhite room and stay there doing nothing for 12 hours each day. Every 30 minutes have one of you simulate your platoon sergeant by standing up and running around the room screaming "OH MY GOD WE'RE UNDERSTAFFED!!!!! WE'RE UNDERSTAFFED!!!!!!".

#32: every few weaks, when there s thunderstorm, have your friends move you outside while you are sleeping, and have them wake you up my dumping a bathtub full of water on you to simulate your tent ripping/collapsing.

#33: do donuts with your car throughout your yard to remove any grass, then drian your kids above ground swimming pool into your yard to get a good solid 3 inch deep mud pit going. live there for three weeks.
