It's not easy to see how slick these people are. Notice that the complaint in the game is not about how many insurance companies cover oral contraceptives. In point of fact, about half of them do.
Here's the listing from mine:
$5 co-payment per prescription for brand name or generic drugs.
No co-payment for FDA-approved contraceptive drugs and devices. Injectable contraceptives and internally implanted contraceptive devices are covered under the medical benefits.
What does yours say? Even McDonalds' employee medical plan covers prescription drugs.
The complaint was how many states have laws forcing insurance companies to cover these things. And apparently about 20 states do have such laws. But listing those wouldn't make their point, would it?
And when you get down to people who don't have insurance coverage for this, is having to pay some money for contraceptives really that unbearable a burden on a normal couple?
I still can't get over the fact that American people are now largely convinced that all medical care should be "free." I predict that the liberal goal of making medicine a state monopoly is probably not more than ten years off.
