Morrison must either apologize or resign
Scepticism is one thing - incompetence is something else entirely -
If Morrsion does not apologize for the intemperance of his remarks concerning Clube and Napier work with comet impact, then he shoudl be forced to resign or retire, as necessary.
It is quite clear that comets and comet fragments do impact, and we have seen Comet Shoemaker Lavy do this with our own eyes. Due in large part to Morrison's incompetence, NASA has exactly no grasp of the scale of this hazard.
This situation must change.
