I think Mark is right
Bush has this election in his hip pocket (he can't lose). After crushing Dean, the Republicans will be on the gravy train for 4 more years. However then arrogance and greed will take their toll. The religious right will get out of hand along with the federal deficit and corporate welfare. In the mean time, the Democrats will jettison everyone left of Hillary Clinton (the Green Party will be become highly visible and very fashionable amongst the idiot left).
The pendulum always swings back.
