In fact all voters do so because they want something. Some vote because they want looser gun control laws. Others vote to end abortion. Some vote for mor emoney in their pockets and it's no surprise that when Santa Bush comes around the ones who wanted money from the government got it. The others got a lump of coal and vague promises of policy changes in the future.
In fact you vote Republican because of what you want from the government, which is mostly freedom. I don't think the economy got a kick in the ass from the tax cuts, it got a wedgie from Bush and his rich cronies.
