stopping process automatically

Does anybody know away to automatically stop processes in win XP from running? Would some sort of login script do it?

I have a nephew who spent the night at a relatives house over the weekend. Apparantly he spent a very long night looking at some very bad websites. The next morning they were infected with a couple of viruses. AD pop-up software such as described in the thread 'Those Sneaky bastards' below and tons of spyware. I spent 4 hours last night cleaning it all off. I was able to kill most of it. What I couldn't delete, I broke by doing registry searches for the name and deleting keys. Messy and not for the faint of heart, but it worked. There are still 2 process that run on startup that I can't quite kill. If I stop them from running, no more nasty popup wanting to download something, so as a workaround fix I'd like to automate killing the processes at logon. any ideas?
