That is some GORGEOUS terrain!
The link to the MOC image of the southeastern hills is particularly tantilizing. Deep craters filled with dark dunes... a ledge around the hills which reads as a possible shorline... there are just too many nifty things to contemplate. These hills are probably out of reach during the primary mission, but if Spirit outlasts its design life as much as Sojouner did, then they're easily within reach. (That's a big if, I'm sure, but I can dream...)
Cheers,
Nathan.
