I pointed out that the marathon lie was trivial, and the truth would have been easier.
The guy lied about something inconsequential. THAT was the point. There are other, bigger, more substantive lies out there from this guy, I just pointed out one which only a compulsive liar would lie about.
As far as me and Clinton, I wanted him out of there because he was morally unfit and to give Gore a head start. But your statement is a perfect example of believing something ONLY because you want to. No facts, no data, in fact all of the information ever available pointed in the opposite direction, but you believed what you wanted to. Despite the reality.
