Bush Pushes For New Space Age!

Now is the time when we have to put all our bickering aside and focus on supporting this initiative. This is man's last best hope. We may never again get a President who has the space community's ear. He's doing his bit - let's do ours.

I know many will probably be disappointed by the changes. But try and get a big picture again. Donate to politicians who support the initiative, write & e-mail your Congress people. Write to the President and tell him of your support.

Now is not the time to wax poetic about the ISS or the space shuttle. If they can be utilized - great - if not, the tears are counter-productive. Who in their right mind would weep to see a Yugo traded in for a Hummer?
Yes some of us have jobs tied in with these two endeavors - but if this initiative proceeds there will be more work in the space sector than there has ever been!

This is our fight. We wanted it. We dreamed about it. Here's a chance for us to make it happen - the actions you and I make might ultimately save the entire human species someday. There are no little voices, no inconsequential people - each action has a reaction. Everyone can make a big difference to the success or failure of this grand vision.

Don't let anyone tell you, "It can't be done."

It can...and it will be done.

To infinite Vistas,
