The Speech
Objectively: A good speech. Necessarily shy on the details. Shortish. No real surprises, after months of leaks and/or speculation. I hope that getting some numbers right from the Prez will stifle all the ridiculous stuff about it costing a "trillion dollars."
Subjectively: Darn near had me in tears. It's a wonderous mandate to start building the future. I loved the line about it being a journey, not a race, and that other nations would be welcomed into the effort. If the yea-sayers can win out over the nay-sayers, this day could be a pivitol moment in history.
