We are swiming in a sea full of crybabies here...they must be bringing them in by the busload from all over the US... How can we aford this while soldiers are dying.... HOw can we do that when my baby is sick...Apparently nobody can get a job or afford the drugs needed to bring them out of their depression, but they are all able to come to Iowa and politic.

I just heard one Ludite refer to John Kerry as a visionary stateman who wouldn't waste taxpayer money on a ridiculous space program.

It sounded like talking points straight from the home office in Des Moines.

It will be interesting to see where the Democratic candidates scramble on this new space initiative. i hope that voter isn't truely representative of JFK's platform on space.

It will also be interesting to see if the President can use the power of the bully pulpit to sell the idea to a public that up until now wasn't all that interested...Afterall, I've heard rumours that our school roofs leak water occassionally. God forbid my child should be forced to move his desk to stay dry...The Federal Government must fix the problem before building a base on the Moon.
