Remember this is Pravda
It's not impossible. But it's not x-ray vision. It's likely more of an ability of her mind than her eyes. It's that attenuation bit again. Our eyes are geared towards the visual surfaces which reflect light. However our minds perceive waves also and could be acclimated to seeing beyond the surface of any structure by increasing our sensitivity.
You might look at your monitor and see the screen. Now, if you increase your mental sensitivity, you might see the cathode ray tube emitting streams of particles towards the fluorescent phosphorus coating. Soon you might develop this ability and refine it and soon you could look inside your radio, your microwave and see beyond the surface.
You would not be using your eyes but rather your consciousness would actually be interfacing with these unseen waves that are emitted from these structures.
A lot of these things that seem impossible have very real scientific explanations. No mysteries exist - only ignorance. Once we discover the process, suddenly it's not a mystery anymore.
Human consciousness has a much more expanded bandwidth than visible light. She might've developed this ability by necessity as her body tried to tell her something was still inside it. It's unusual, no doubt, and may indeed be a fraud - but I don't believe it is impossible.
If it is true, I certainly don't envy her. Her entire life will be filled with people coming to her in need. That would become quite a burden and very obssesive after awhile. On the flip side - it would be a hoot if our doctors all were required to develop this "inner sight" and were tested on their ability before they received their license.
