I've worked for and among M.D.'s in a research medical center for many years and believe me, if any medical students in this country had that kind of ability, medical school would probably scrub it out of them. Independent thinking, action is only acceptable within certain parameters. American M.D.s have more of a tendency toward closed minds than those trained in foreign countries. Sometimes they are so conservative they squeak.
I just generalized above and there are exceptions, of course, wonderful exceptions. There was a doctor in Springfield, MO who worked with a psychic for years. She could diagnose people from long distance and if she was ever wrong, it was rare. I know there is a logical, scientifically valid explanation for how that works but it does not diminish the uniqueness, the specialness of that ability in any way. If we can study it, understand it, perhaps we can develop it.
