On the campaign trail just before the elction, all Bush would have to do is put the squeeze on the american people by inventing an "oil shortage" and driving gas prices up to exorbitant prices until we cry "Uncle"! Then, all he has to do is promise to bring those prices back down.....and voila!
A miracle! The prices come tumbling down and he becomes Hero of the Day. Oh, and don't say he wouldn't do it. Look at he BS that happened in California, and how he ALLOWED his oil buddies there to gouge the market by refusing to step in. Oh, and all those "energy" meetings were kept secret, and even today Ken Lay still walks around scott free.
Don't say it couldn't happen here. This is Bush's America and he knows how to manipulate us well.
