re: Dig up my earlier posts . . .

Girl, I didn't vote for that nickel-dime knucklehead in the Armani suit either, remember?

I was a Gore man, simply because he was the only candidate who ever -- ever -- mentioned the term nanotechnology. Don't recall if the quote had to do with his inventing nanotech or not, but that's beside the point. He seemed to be the only one who had ever heard of it, and that was enough of a start for me. Gore won my vote -- as Clinton had won it for his first term. However, I did know he was going to lose, simply by way of guilt through association with the evil that was Slick Willie, but I handed him the chance.

This aside, Bush the Buffoon is now in office, and I currently have no real-world qualms that outweigh the good he has done for this nation in a time of imminent peril (yes, that was typed with a straight face). You may disagree with that, but then I'm way up here in Ohio, so I have little first-hand experience with all the little terrorist you-all have to deal with down Florida-way.

What are your outweighing qualms, Lindy? Or are they just potential qualms that have yet to have materialized in the real world? "Bribery, extortion and threat"? You'll need to do a lot better than that. In the real world of global politics, this is referred to as "negotiation".
