I post these links to these articles to remind everyone here that half-way around the world people are dying, including American soldiers. There is no "glee" in that and I am offended by your suggestion.

The reality is that you don't want to know the bad news. You want to live in your sanitized little dream world that everything in Iraq is just peachy keen.

People are dying in Iraq, and we damn well ought to know about it. If you want to hide your petty little head in the sand, that's your problem.

We have a Presdient that told us we needed to go to war because Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction that threatened our safety and security. Turns out that wasn't true.

In the meantime, over five hundred Americans have died there in pursuit of weapons of mass destruction that didn't exist, while you and the neocons here cheered gleefully as literally thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians died at the hands of American armament. There's nothing gleeful about any of this.
