Spirit problem

I just watched the press conference. It appears Spirit is rebooting every time it tries to boot up. However there is a delay built in before it reboots and this is when they can talk to it and get data. It has rebooted aprox. 60 times thus far. He also said the problems appear to of started when they where calibrating the elevation mirror on the mini-tes instrument.

Spirit is not going to sleep at night like it should, but this shouldn't be a problem, it is in a safe power and thermal state. The computer is also in X-band fault mode. This means the computer thinks there is something wrong with the x-band comm system. It may mean the problem was with the high gain antenna.

What do you guys think the odds are that they will be able to restore functionality?
