Maybe these ridiculous estimates of 1 trillion for the Mars mission will work in our favor in the long run. When they find out it will be a lot less than that they may not object so stronglyâ€¦.. but probably not. They would be against it if it were less than 50 billion. The trillion dollar number is just a scare tactic.
