Spirit game plan

Assuming Spirit gets rolling again, doesn't it make sense to investigate where the heat shield crashed at the north end of the nearby crater? I would think this would be ideal given that the crash likely dug a nice deep fresh hole in the ground.

(I hate to keep responding to my own posts but I figured all this info was loosely related.)
