Is this a realistic long range target?

The crater the arrow is pointing to is about 150 meters across. Just eyeballing it I would estimate the very large craters to the south with the white interiors to be around 3 to 5 kilometers away. If we can keep running for a year as one scientist said was possible, maybe after exploring the nearby crater we can go pedal to the metal and get to one of those big ones before Opportunity dies!
