Spiffy airbag imprint on the Martian regolith
One of the raw pictures shows an airbag imprint in the Martian regolith that's remarkably
intact. The regolith at Meridiani looks similar to sand that has just been rained on. This airbag
imprint has the same character. I find this rather strange since dust storms should have made the
regolith surface smoother with more of the character of sand on a sand dune. This is probaly
some weird electrostatic phenomena.
