Can we mothball the HST?
IS it to our adavntage if we put the HST insleep mode until a viable solution to this shuttle debalce is solved? Like, push it into a higher orbit, or change it to a better orbital inclination so we at least have the hardwre up there to do research in the future, seems like a waste of good money to de-orbit and burn up a piece of hardware researchers could use decades to come
