Of course, to some extent you're right. But sanctions alone--which have been in place how long?--would have accomplished nothing. Without the fall of Saddam, Libya would still be working on nukes, and Pakistan would still be hawking the technology around the Mideast.
And it's irritating that most of the Left won't even bend as far as you did, and they confidently assert that Bush and the change of regime in Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with any of this.
