What is your debate technique in person? Drop your pants and moon your opponent?
You may be capable of debate but you haven't shown it in this thread. Here's what you said:
Discovering along with many other Democrats, after eight years of utter silence, that military combat experience is now an essential part of being a President.
This still doesn't match up to the cosmic chutzpah of Moveon.org, founded specifically to convince America that Clinton porking an intern in the Oval Office was of absolutely no importance, declaring that Arnold Schwarzenegger's groping made him utterly unfit to be Governor of California.
And now let's examine your "facts."
McGovern said what he said, a 180 degree pivot in viewpoint since Bush was elected. Fact.
And was mcGovern's viewpoint that "military combat experience is now an essential part of being a president?" No. There's nothing in his remarks to support such an obviously ludicrous claim. Or that his viewpoint has changed. Your "facts" ain't factual.
Moveon.org said what they said about Schwarzenegger, and the history of their organization is an open book. Fact.
Did Moveon.org say Clinton's porking of an intern was "of absolutely no importance?" No. That's hyperbole, not fact. Did they say Ahnold's groping made him "utterly unfit" to be Governor, or words to that effect? Doubtful. But if you can cite a credible source that shows they did, perhaps you got one fact right out of several "facts" that weren't.
That level of veracity would have grade-school debaters rolling their eyes.
