Worldwide Ignorance On Radiation Issues
Comparing radiatioactive waste on the basis of pounds is ridiculous. The intensity and form of radiation and the decay rate are far more important than the pounds. The pounds are virtually irrelevant if it is all low level alpha particles with a short half life. I'm not sure what the radioactive byproducts from fusion are, but they are supposed to be far less dangerous than those produced by fission. They are without doubt totally different chemicals.
