Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence
I wrote this some time ago, and I don't remember if I ever posted it here. Sorry if it is a repeat.
Transmission: The Other Side of SETI
The point is simple: To search for extraterrestrial intelligence, one must first ask the question, "If WE were trying to transmit a signal to make contact, how would we do so?" Only when this is answered can we know where and how to look for such a signal.
