Obviously we're approaching the "turning point"
This is were the concept of the hematite being of a purely volcanic or aqueous origin is established or put to rest. Getting this right-or-wrong can make or break a career. Also a fair amount of future funding is hanging in the balance. The guys at JPL are being professional about this.
