Correct me if I'm wrong - an observation.
It looks to me, a totally unsophisticated nosepicker when it comes to geology, astrobiology, etc., that the Rovers have looked around, wandered a bit, done some science, and not only haven't seen the smoking gun for a watery past but don't know where, anymore, to look for that smoking gun.
That's not to say there isn't more to see and do, but that so far the results, in terms of finding an environment conducive to life as we know it at some time in the past, have been very nearly completely negative.
And there's nothing in sight of the Rovers which holds more promise than what they've yet seen as far as biology is concerned.
Is that too far off the mark?
Thanks.
