re:Choice or necessity
When Russert aksed him whether Iras was a war of choice or of necessity, it reminded me of the time I had an oral dissertation, to get a diploma allowing me to the university (a maturity exam as we call it).
This time it was Bush's turn.
Of course, the war in Iras is a war of choice: no threat, no WMD, no troops invading another country, no connections with Al Qaeda, no permission from the Security Council!
I hope teachers will ask the same question to their pupils, for their dissertations, but it might take a while before it can be pulled away from the political context.
