Choice or necessity?

That's a very good way to put it. The war on Iraq was a war of choice and not necessity. Saddam was not a threat to the U.S. or its citizens. That he was so easily overturned is proof positive of that fact.
As for Russert's interview of Bush, I was transfixed as to how insecure and uncertain Mr. Bush came across. He looked clearly uncomfortable and unsure of himself. His command of facts and rhetoric were somewhat less than presidential. He had obviously been coached, but not very well.
