There has to be a reason. It ain't national security. These people will release any information, even if it means "outing" a covert CIA agent, if it meets their political ends. We DO know that GWB is acting like a person with something to hide.

True Believers will have to say that he can't share National Security stuff. A crock. Anyone who will condone the 'outing' (they haven't found that person and there could only be a few. Has Rove gone on the box? He would if GWB told him to.) would share anything. Bush doesn't want you and me to know what he knew and when, and you tell me - why not?

It's clearly worth it to him to have folks assume the worst as being better than the truth. In my opinion. Considered opinion.
