Didn't think so.

It would be wonderful if these people were supporting an investigation to find the truth, but as with most political "investigations," the goal is not truth but using the investigative process as a weapon. Creating a climate of suspicion and "perceived wrongdoing" while ignoring facts that lead one away from the conclusion you are looking for.

A key sign that an investigation is political, is that no amount of data contradicting the premise will rid the investigators of the idea that there is still more to find out. That if they just got one more record, one more hostile witness, they could win.

Both political parties have done this, as you well know. There have been several shots like this at Bush in the past year or so. And any reasonable person would have to admit that much of what was done to Bill Clinton fell into this category. The "Bush approved the WTC attack" people are squatting in the exact same looney bin as those on the Right who think Hillary Clinton put a hit on Vince Foster.
