It's not the vehicles themselves, it's their drivers.

I drive a roller skate. I have driven it to work, and I have driven it for 8 hours, one way, to visit my daughter. This is my choice, and I don't care much what other people choose, though I've made no secret of the fact that I wish we all would, and could, choose mass transit more often for day-to-day crap. But sedans, minivans, oversize vans, pick-up trucks... none of them bother me. Except SUVs.

When I'm driving my roller skate, I don't exactly drive slowly. I also don't ride in the left lane on a 4-lane except to pass. Who tailgates me at 70 mph? Clowns in SUVs.

At night, when I'm driving my roller skate on a two-lane rural road with no shoulder, who climbs into my trunk with their lights in my mirrors? Clowns in SUVs.

Who is more likely to cut me off at an intersection? A clown in an SUV.

When parking is tight, which vehicle am I most likely to see straddling two spaces to protect its precious paint job? An SUV.

I don't know what it is about those cars that seems to attract road bullies. I know their cars are bigger than mine, and so I have to let them behave the way they do, but you know, one of these days.... one of these days... POW! Right in the kisser!
