Hi, JMS.
When I made a reference to plaigarism on another thread
it wasn't meant as an accusation directed at you.
Quite the contrary; when I finished my college years way back in 1990
I recall my professors "laying down the law" regarding attempted plaigarism
in any essay, abstract or paper that landed on their desk,
whether the field was science, arts or the humanities.
The spectre of [alleged] widespread plaigarism in these higher institutes of learning has caught my eye recently.
Why it has drawn the attention of the media of late has
left me the strong impression in me that it is not a rare occurance.
OK! Jump on me, Bowser, for this faulty deductive reasoning.
On second thought, don't jump on me, Bowser...people might
get the wrong idea [wink wink].
Great to know we've got a pro-geologist on this HZ website.
And a pro geophysicist too; Hi, Nick!
Speaking of geology/minerology, here's a great website to go to: www.mindat.org.
They have an exhaustive collection of data on minerals and the like.
cheers.

A belated reply to JMS, et al: It's good to push the envelop when it comes to science.
