I went through a technical education, with the liberal arts hovering around the perimeter. A steel structure is not going to stand up just because there is a consensus that it should, or because the professor thinks it should.
I would like to say that if I majored in sociology, I would have turned out the same way, but who knows?
I'd like to see the numbers on how many Republicans come out of a liberal arts education, vs. an engineering or computer science degree. You got any?
I do hear that more college students are tending toward the conservative. Not sure why. I read somewhere that as the years go by, Roe vs. Wade is selecting liberals out of the population. ;)
