whoa-does that explain a lot. I remember you from college! You were the guy with the white socks, the pocket protector, and the Post log-log versalog slide rule on his belt.
I even remember you articulating, " I are an engineer."
It is indeed difficult to reason with a highly technically trained, but only self-educated individual. The breadth of experience is so shallow that the limitations imposed by the single lifetime doom interpretation of the world to very constrained limits.
You really do well for someone so handicapped. Bravo, and may you keep on growing. Understanding might well come if you live and observe long enough.
