Possible strategies for handling this.

Get your credit cards while you can.

Keep your gas-guzzler - the US will subsidize you as there'll be so many of you.

Join the National Guard - Halliburton will feed you, clothe you, house you.

Learn Spanish (Mexican) - so you can understand your next boss. (Retaining US citizenship optional.)

Start doing back exercises - both as training for your next job, and to better handle what the gov't is doing to you.

Learn "ingratiate" and "obsequious". Practice both.

Practice memorizing menus.

Listen to "Chattannooga Shoeshine Boy" with an eye, and ear, toward a career.

Hoard cardboard for lettering signs. Stake out rights to freeway off-ramps.

Oh, there's any number of them. Thank God we have a plan. It won't be as hard as it could be. The US won't impose UN sanctions on us, we can hope.
