Hate to break it to you, but Social Security was in the crapper years before Bush got elected, before tax cuts (or tax hikes) were put in place, or before we did anything in the Middle East. Military spending has been dropping for years as a percent of GDP. And Medicare is going to bankrupt us long before Social Security does.
Kind of a fizzle. Better get back to that nap.
