National polls
They too are moving in the president's direction, but you are correct they are still close. And yes they do reflect the weaknesses Obama faces on the economy. But trends in consumer confidence are not in Romney's favor.
As we know though, it's the swing state polls that matter. And Obama has had greater favorable movement there. And now today there are two polls out showing Obama ahead in NC. That might be serious bad news for Romney.
