And even so, look what happened to the ERA in the US.

I wonder what would happen if a foreign power had the power to tell the US that from now on women would be equal in all matters, including the "spiritual head of the household". That men no longer could be the sole "spiritual head", and that women were in every single way equal.

And that equality had to be demonstrated by allowing women to perform every function men could, civil and religious.

I wonder how the fundamental Christians would handle that violation of their religious beliefs, something in direct opposition to the New Testament as voiced by Paul?

Suspect there would be some resistance.

And look what happened to the ERA in the US. Sometimes ya gotta wonder.
