Space/Science » in reply to So far, so good.

My take on that question is like this:

Before the universe existed, there was “something” that caused the space, mass, and energy to come into existence.(in that order)
We give “that something” a name that signifies far superior power and intelligence than man has ever had, or ever will have. We should hold that “named something” in high regard and reverence, since without space, mass and energy, nothing would exist. Since us humans are structured out of the “trinity” of space, mass, and energy, we are, in that respect, the creations of “that something.”
That is my opinion of the creator God, at this moment in time. If better information surfaces then I may change my opinion.
Scientists figure that the Earth is about 4 billon years old and the universe is about 14 billion years old, meaning that man on Earth developed into this stage within the 4 billion years, but since the universe is 14 billion years old, it means that there are planets and perhaps people on those planets that have existed 10 billion years longer than humans on Earth.
Now; if some of the beings from the old planets should come here. we certainly would consider them as Gods, if for no other reason than their technology would be beyond our understanding.
So, the “God” who spoke to Noah and Moses may have been a extraterrestrial.
Since; those highly advanced beings would still be made out of the same space, mass, and energy that was created in the beginning, they too would be part of the same universe that we are, and in that sense would have the same “creator” as we do.
