The "being" who made the superstrings, the being who originated the conditions for the big bang, where does that being "live"? Is that the being who made Man in it's own image? Is that being capable of thought as we know it? Can it do that without neurons, a physical manifestation similar to ours?
Or does it morph around, and define itself as whatever it is at the moment?
I think you have a good point in that we do not know the circumstances of our origin. To ascribe it to some conscious being doesn't seem to me to be reasonable. "Being" and "conscious" would have to be defined in a manner we can't understand.
That's my stab at it. I absolutely know the Judeo-Christian God does not exist, and suspect there is no other entity to which the term could be reasonably applied.
