I just returned from a trip to Hawaii which included a trip to the calderas on top of Kilaua (From where I cold see the telescopes on Mona Kia by the way!). It looked exactly...And I mean exactly like the pictures being returned from Mars! The only ting absent was the rising steam.
If you haven't been there already...It is a must see!
Although, I really enjoyed the Marriott resort in Kuai.
Even when the weather was bad (by Hawaian standards) It seemed great to me.
