The original paper from the ORNL group was one of the most unprofessional papers I have ever seen... if you want to look it up I did post a list of flames against it... I looked into sonolumenescence before the original paper came out- not for fusion, but just because at the time it was a mystery... I have been to talks by people that studied it intensively and it looks unlikely that fusion is possible this way....

I want to add a disclaimer- While I HAVE studied this in the past I do NOT claim I know a damn thing about its current status....I DO know that the original ORNL paper had NO business being published - it was a travesty.... half assed research, that was partly disproven by ORNL's own instruments... in my opinion it only got published because it was so sensational....
I am not saying they werent right- just that their published proof was DAMN weak- feel free to look up my posts on it at the time- I remember I was hopeful when I read the press release and when i read the paper I was rather brutal in my review of it.... I studied their paper and found MANY points I would grill them on...

I will read the new paper hopefully in a few days, and will post what I think... I will state now and for the record that this will NEVER be a power source....If I am wrong feel free to taunt me... I will be laughing in wild glee with you...

but the ornl group did such an incompetent job their first time around, that _I_ found serious flaws in their experiments.... and I am NOT an expert in the field.... I am not saying it isnt true I will read the paper first...... I just have to state that I have serious doubts...
