I don't know about you, but I would sign on to this in a New York minute, and I have no idea why it's been dismissed until now. Screw the Bizarro architecture and "artistic statements." Putting those towers back, shifted off their original footprints, in combination with a memorial area on those original footprints, would make the greatest statement of all. Browse the whole site.

While specific memorial designs are discussed, the proponents of this idea think that the actual memorials set on the original footprints should probably be designed by the relatives of victims and memorial designers.
