I don't know what it is, ok, maybe I do. ;) When I first see one of these grand images, at first, I'm in awe of the beauty, then critical thinking begins and I can't help but to try and anylize it all and then wonder (yes, if there are others like us out there). Then, because it is obviously so far out of my reach, philosphy takes hold and reality finally manages to shut the door.
Since Carl was quoted, I had to try for Einstein and this one won out:
"I think that a particle must have a separate reality independent of the measurements. That is an electron has spin, location and so forth even when it is not being measured. I like to think that the moon is there even if I am not looking at it."
- Albert Einstein
Don't forget about those five planets coming into our evening view! :)
