Pretending again?
Obama has made it very clear he wants a grand bargain, but if the GOP refuses to add revenues to the mix, he will let the Bush tax cuts expire for everyone and then immediately pass an identical tax cut for the middle class. The beauty of this is the GOP will be off the hook with their rich masters because they never voted to raise taxes on the rich, they simply voted in a new tax cut for the middle class.
