The hunt for al Qaeda: telegraphing our moves

This story is just one of many recently that seems to broadcast our intelligence on bin Laden to the world, not to mention our planned moves to get him.

This seems a bit odd to me on the face of it.

Isn't the general idea to sneak up on these guys? This is so obvious that it has to be deliberate on the part of our military. Why? Comments?
