Meteor Watch on Mars?

Spirit seems to have been staying up late at night and taking snapshots of the starry sky. Included are the trails of passing meteorites.
No mention of this yet in the press release but looks like an interesting scientific study. I don't know whether a particular meteor shower was predicted (but the trails appear randomly oriented anyway, not emanating from a focus as a shower would).
Looks a step in calibrating the (micro) meteoroid flux on Mars for comparison to Earth (Moon) and cross-calobrating the crater counting chronology.
